Oh great, destroy the free market more.
The Dallas Morning News reports that in the effort to remove the Wright Amendment, a compromise may be in the works to remove both Southwest and American from "each other's" airports and allow Southwest to finally fly its planes where it wants to from Love Field - but only out of 15 to 18 gates. Evidently the free market and that whole capitalism thing no longer ring a bell with any of the governments involved.

My aunt keeps talking about how scared she is that she will lose her job at American Airlines if Southwest starts stealing AA's business but yet AA has enough money to purchase property in Snider Plaza (an EXTREMELY high rent shopping center) for the purpose of spreading their propaganda. And I thought that the Southwest radio ads were bad!
The politicians in Texas have truly lost their mind... on this Wright Amendment thing, they're trying to implement some bizarre, central planning scheme... a la the former Soviet Union.
